D.J. said he's happy you were in your van when Mama Bear got pissed.

Deej and I are winding down here after a long day at the Rock N Roll Marathon. Perfect running weather. I missed your support from the sidelines! But I was just a teammate for the famous relay team, Here4DaBling, with Andrea and a couple of other friends.

Ready to hear more about your adventures with Stella. Keep it coming!avenuezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16000887601135061569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2436804428011356418.post-72197764931738423552009-05-31T07:47:07.003-07:002009-05-31T07:47:07.003-07:00Ahh, yet another blog entry that I "eat up" and re...Ahh, yet another blog entry that I "eat up" and relish with amazement and a sense of pride in your appreciation for the adventure you are on. Thank you for your ability to capture the adventures and craft them wittily so they come alive right off the page, so to speak, when you write. There is so much more ahead as you and Stella venture further into the wild! Not so sure I'd want to be, as an encounter with a grizzly bear would not be on the top of my list of "must do's". Sounds as if this trip is evolving into everything you could have wanted, and then some. My thoughts are with you everyday, for not only a safe trip but a wonderfully fulfilling one! What a birthday you will have..far exceeds the shark fishing and sky-diving. Best wishes. Really enjoyed the glacier and the grizzly pics---I would not want to camp outside in the far north, especially with the smell of food in the vicinity. The 2 Klondikers live in that isolated place for a reason, probably one you don't want to know; does witness protection program ring a bell? Just kidding. Glad your XM signal is now strong---I have it also but mostly listen to 50's rock; when you get back I can sing a few songs for you. One of my alltime favorites is, and I kid you not, North To Alaska by Johnny Horton (Big Sam left Seattle...going north the rush is on).
